Co-stars Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbor reunited in front of the press and public for the first time since reports of a possible feud between the two hit the Internet last week. The two actors showed no signs of trouble between them at the highly anticipated Stranger Things Season 5 premiere in Los Angeles.

Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbor leave potential complaints behind to show united front at LA event

Things took a strange turn for fans of the show when reports surfaced last week claiming that Millie Bobby Brown complained of bullying at the hands of her on-screen father, actor David Harbour. None of the stars reacted to these reports, neither confirming nor denying them. Since then, fans of the show have been waiting to see if anything has changed between the two and their appearance at the LA premiere of the last season of their show. The two posed for the cameras as they made fun of each other on the red carpet with big smiles on their faces.

Although there was no sign of awkwardness, they also gave each other a side-hug and looked overall casual. The show’s creators, the Duffer Brothers, didn’t say much more to The Hollywood Reporter on November 6, instead saying, “Obviously, you understand I can’t get into matters of personal beginnings, but I will say that we’ve been doing this with this cast for 10 years, and at this point they are family and we care about them deeply. So, you know, nothing matters more than just having a set where everyone feels safe and happy.”

However, Stranger Things director and executive producer Shawn Levy was very firm on how seriously he takes any potential complaints, vowing to ‘create a respectful workplace where everyone feels comfortable and safe’, adding that he was proud to do the same on the Stranger Things set.

The pages and pages of allegations reported before Season 5 began shooting have not been addressed by Netflix or any of the actors, and it seems this press run has decided not to touch the subject at all.
