After the success of ‘The Ba**ds of Bollywood’, now all eyes are on Aryan Khan’s next step. Now reports have emerged on his upcoming lineup and it is likely to include his father and superstar Shah Rukh Khan.

However, before that project takes off, the 27-year-old is preferring another full-fledged entertainer, which will serve as his theatrical debut. Reports suggest that the young filmmaker will go ahead with the project with Shah Rukh Khan only after its completion.
The report quoted a source close to the development as saying, “Aryan wants to achieve a theatrical success and prove himself as a filmmaker before taking up the challenge of directing his superstar father Shah Rukh Khan.”
Talking about Aryan’s plan of action, the insider said, “His idea is to earn that opportunity through merit and let his work speak for itself. If everything goes as per plan, Aryan’s third directorial will have SRK in the lead role. The father-son duo has already finalized the main idea, but the collaboration is only expected to take shape in 2027. For now, Aryan is focusing on completing the script of his second feature, which will be out soon. Only then will she enter the casting stage.”
During the social media session, a fan earlier asked Shahrukh, “Can we see your son directing you in a full film? #ASKSrk…(sic).” Answering the question, the superstar commented, “If he can buy me!!! And my tantrums…(sic).”
Aryan made his directorial debut earlier this year with the series *The Ba**ads of Bollywood*, which was released under the Red Chillies Entertainment banner.
