We have all been there. Publicly, scrolling our phone, when we notice that someone is trying to peek into our screen. Until now, the only solution to avoid such landscape was a privacy screen guard that distorted to see angles from the sides. But now, Samsung is reportedly bringing a better solution with a privacy screen in the S26 Ultra.

According to @achultra on X, rumor privacy performance feature S26 will be available as a tole in Ultra Settings. The user shared the screenshots as to what they claim was the first one UI 8.5 build. Page title shows ‘privacy performance’.

Users will get the option to use privacy performance as an auto-feature according to leakage. The S26 Ultra Display will automatically hide sensitive material from others when the phone is used in public places.

Additionally, Samsung S26 also appears to be a manual setting with a manual setting in Ultra. The privacy display can hide the screen on the S26 Ultra while viewing images or entering the passcode. Users can also create screen dimensions when privacy performance is active.

These characteristics will ensure that no one else can find a glimpse inside your phone in public places, especially any sensitive material, such as text messages or images. It also negates the need to use a privacy screen guard.

Privacy performance feature will only come in S26 Ultra next year, not in the rest of the series. It uses Samsung’s Flex Magic Pixel Tech and is a hardware-dependent feature.

Samsung S26 series, what do we know here
