Rish Shetty is ready to return to the big screen with Shetty Kantara: Chapter 1 in the lead role. The much awaited film cinemas are releasing in this Gandhi Jayanti. Four days before the release, its advance booking opened on 28 September.
Till 11 am, till 29 September, Kantara: Chapter 1 sold around 15,000 tickets in the top two national series – PVR Inox and Cinepolis – for the early days. PVR INOX is leading the sale of tickets by recording around 12000 admissions, while the remaining 3000 were sold by Cinepolis.
Kantara: Chapter 1 started Rs 20 crore
Bangarrol, The Advance Booking of Kantara: Chapter 1 is decent by Homebell Films. For two days, still in hand, the film has the ability to see a Bengor East-Bike. Based on publicity and advance sales, Kanta: Chapter 1 is on track for the start of Rs 20 crore in Hindi, it depends on how the walk-in and spot booking are early days. Given the holiday factor, the walk ups are expected to be strong for Kantara: Chapter 1.
This will be a proper start at the box office in Hindi. However, it will be a word-mouth that will play a major role in make or break for the film. If Kantara: Chapter 1 manages to receive a spectacular reception, it will see a solid growth in the weekend.
Kantara: Chapter 1 Sunny Sanskari’s clash with Tulsi Kumari
Co-integrated Rukmini Vasant and Gulshan Devaiya, Kantara: Chapter 1 is ready to hit Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor starrer Sunny Sanskari’s Tulsi Kumari. It will be interesting to see how Rishha Shetty performs against starrer the Hindi film, supported by Dharma Productions.
For bin calling, Kanta: Chapter 1 is a prequel for Kantara: The Legend, which was released in 2022. The prequel is under pressure to meet the expectations set by the original part.
