Beyond the release of the film, the main pair sat for a special interview with Pinkvilla, where Jahnvi revealed the response of Martin Scoresz to her performance at homebound.

Talking with Pinkvilla, Janhvi Kapoor began the discussion about how she balances between films like commercial cinema and homebound. In response, the actress revealed that she does not finish her choice and shares the reason behind her decision to take on a project.
In his words, “I didn’t think that I was thinking about doing a commercial film, and then I would do it and all. I didn’t do homebound to achieve anything from it. I just feel firm about the film, and I am dying to work with Neeraj sir.”
“There was nothing for me to do homebound. It was an experience for me to do so. When I read the script, I felt like being a better person, and I hope people feel after seeing it.”
Amidst the conversation, Varun Dhawan said that he shared what he had heard about the Martin Scorscs participation in the film as an executive producer and his response during the editing process.
Varun said, “She got excited by what I heard, when Martin became one of the producers of the film, and was giving them editing notes and all, she talked about Janhvi’s character. She said, ‘The actress who played it is very good … so good.’ I heard it
