Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Dhawan-Star Sunny Sanskari’s Tulsi Kumari has been slated to hit the silver screen on October 2, 2025. With just a few days to go before release, the lead pair shared their views on the upcoming projects in a special chat with Pinkvilla.
Janhvi Kapoor on working with Ram Charan in Pedi
Talking with Pinkvilla, Janhvi Kapoor thrilled the RRR star to work with Ram Charan in Peddi, praising the RRR star.
In my own words, “I am doing an explosion on that film. It is a very different and interesting character. I think Buchi Babu is a root director. I mean, Uppana is such a great film. He has a great vision, and he gives you a lot of push. I think that character is for me … I don’t feel like a traditional hero.”
“I am very lucky to be on the set. I love Ram Sir, he is such a gentle man. He is such a wonderful energy … such a hardworking and honest person. He is a very big star, but he comes on the set like a student. I can’t wait to go back to that set,” Janhvi concluded.

Peddi is an upcoming sports action drama, starring Ram Charan. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film is against the background of a village, with a cricket tournament at its core.
Janhvi Kapoor played the role of a female lead, the film marked her second venture in Telugu cinema, with Part 1 Junior NTR after Devra. Artists also include actors Shiv Rajkumar, Divyendu, Jagapati Babu and many other lead roles.
Music tracks and scores are composed by AR Rahman and will be released in theaters on 27 March 2026.

Janhvi Kapoor will be seen in the lead role in Sunny Sanskari’s Tulsi Kumari next time. Directed by Shashank Khith, upcoming romantic comedy stars Varun Dhawan, Sanya Malhotra, and Rohit Saraf Co-Leides.
Flick is scheduled to release in theaters on 2 October 2025, which matches with Dussehra.
