Tollywood actors Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi were seen leaving a private hospital in Hyderabad on Sunday, 14 September with their newborn son. The couple, who welcomed their first child, went out quietly from the hospital with close members of the family. A video shared online captured the pure moment as he made his way for his vehicle, shifting the newborn to the media.

A heartbreaking announcement
Varun Tej took to Instagram to share a black and white picture from the hospital. In the image, Lavanya is seen holding her newborn baby, while Varun kisses her forehead. Expressing his happiness, he gave the photo “our small man 10.09.2025” caption.
The couple’s announcement quickly went viral, fans and celebrities flood social media with congratulatory messages. Varun’s uncle Megastar Chiranjeevi shared a heartfelt post welcoming the newborn in the Konidala family.
After birth, the Konidla family celebrated the arrival of the new member. At that time, Chiranjeevi visited the hospital on a film to bless the newborn and congratulate her parents. He shared a picture with the caption with Varun and the child: “Welcome to the world, a warm welcome to the newborn’s boy in the Little One! Konidala family.”
Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi’s relationship began on the set of his 2017 film Mr.. Later they worked together in the 2018 film Anticm 9000 kmph. They were engaged in June 2023, followed by a wedding in Tuscany, Italy in November 2023.
