Demon Slair: Infinity Castle wreaked havoc at the Indian box office. The film made a Bengor debut, crossing the life earnings of all the previous Japanese anime films in India, including Jujutsu Cassan 0, Sujum, Demon Slair: to the Haashira Training, and Shinchan: Our Dinosaur Story.
An animated dark fantasy action film, directed by Haruo Sotojaki, started with a gross of Rs 16 crore in its early day, which became the largest anime opener in India by a huge margin. Monster Slair: The figure of the early day of Infinity Castle indicated the bright future of Anime films in India.

In around 1700 screens distributed by Sony Pictures Entertainment, Infinity Castle emerged as the largest opener earlier this week amidst all other Indian releases. The Japanese film also improved Mirai of Teja punishment, which opened in a similar range.
Released in five languages including Japanese, English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, Danav Slair: Infinity Castle made a big jump on Saturday and Sunday based on his excellent advance booking. If the film manages to perform on the expected lines, it will be a gross storm of about Rs 45 crore in its initial weekend, which is no less than a dream for the Anime film in India.
The initial week of the film is expected to rule. However, it will be interesting to see how the film performs in the second weekend, when Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi starrer Jolly LLB 3 will catch the most screen.
