Superman’s sequel, Man of Tumoro, is working in DC Studio, and amid the expectation, James Gan has revealed what fans can expect from the upcoming film. David Konswetw starrer announced the film by DC Head immediately after hitting the screen, and shared with the audience that the actor would return to the superhero to resume his role.
Earlier, Gunn shared an animated photo of Superman and Lex Luther, followed by Crenceweight and Nicolas Hult, who also repeated the photo. In the caption, DC Boss shared the title and release date.
What can fans expect from Man of Tumoro?
James Gun made an appearance in the latest episode of Howard Stern’s podcast, where he revealed that fans could see Superman and Lex Luther coming together to fight a large threat. The director explained, “This is a story about Lex Luther and Superman, which has a huge threat.”
The filmmaker said, “It is more complex than that, but it is a big part of it. It is a Lex film because it is a superman film. I loved working with Nicolas Hult.”
Gunn shared that he might be related to the character of Laks Luther and therefore wanted to make something with the characters of Crenceweight and Halt.
According to media reports, the Lois Lane of Rachel Brosnhan is also rumored to join the remaining members of the rest of the artists. The film is expected to go on the floor in April 2026.
Meanwhile, Superman proved to be a successful kickstart for DC Universe and was grinded and taken forward by season 2. The studios found several projects, including supergirls, cleafes and lanturn.
Man of Tumoro will be a hit in theaters on July 9, 2027.
