Airpods Pro 3 Live Translation Sounds amazing but it will not work for these apple users
Apple’s new live translation feature, which allows for real-time interaction in two different languages, will not be available to users in the European Union, as stated in the company’s website.

9 September during the ‘Amazing Dropping’ event, Apple unveiled AirPods Pro 3. New airpods bring a host of new features, including monitoring heart rate. However, users in the European Union will recall a notable addition, live translation.
According to Apple’s website, live translations on airpods will not be available to European Union users or who have Apple accounts located in the European Union.
The company has not provided an explanation for this unavailability. It is likely that strict rules of the European Union have thrown a spanner in tasks for Apple.
The European Union Artificial Intelligence Act and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) are some of the most stringent laws when this data comes to privacy. The European Union implements strict requirements to offer speech and translation services.
It is likely that Apple is working with regulators to approve live translation. However, there is no official term from the company or the European Union on such a possibility.

What is a live translation of Apple?
Live translation is an apple intelligence feature. This allows users to interact in different languages using their airpods.
AI Airpods translates the language of the speaker in the pro, which allows for real -time interaction with the airpods user. Meanwhile, active noise cancellation (ANC) will filter the voice of the speaker so that you can only hear the translation. If both individuals are wearing airpods, they can communicate freely with hands.
However, if you want to use this feature with someone who is not wearing airpods, then your iPhone will provide real -time transcription of what he says in your language. This can make the conversation much more convenient, especially on foreign trips.
Which Airpods support live translation?
The newly declared airpods are not the only airpods pair to get 3 live translations. Old AirPods Pro 2, as well as AirPods 4, will also be able to use this feature. Live translation H2 works on the chip, which is present on all these models.
However, users will require an iPhone that supports Apple Intelligence and first runs on iOS 26. IOS 26 will be released on 15 September.
Airpods live translation language
Currently, the live translation of Apple for Appleds is limited to five languages - English, French, German, Portuguese and Spanish. The company plans to bring four more languages - Italian, Japanese, Korean and Chinese (simplified) before the end of this year.
Apple has not yet given a timidline to support Indian languages.
