Reliance Industries is stepping into the game of Artificial Intelligence. During its AGM 2025, the company launched Reliance Intelligence, a fully owned subsidiary of Reliance, which would be dedicated to the manufacture of advanced AI services in India. According to Chairman Mukesh Ambani, this new unit will focus on India’s adoption by covering everything from infrastructure and participation to services and talent.

To manufacture AI space, Reliance has also announced his cooperation with global technical veterans Google and Meta which is already a pioneer in the AI ​​space. According to the company, collaboration with global giants will allow them to strengthen their new AI initiative and support India’s broad AI ecosystem.

Point 1: Large scale AI Infrastructure

To lay the foundation, Reliance Intelligence is constructing A-Taiyar data centers at Jamnagar. The construction of these AI-sensors has already started. The company said that these facilities will be operated by renewable energy from Reliance’s clean energy projects. These data-sensors are specifically designed for AI training and estimates. According to the company, these data centers will be expanded to stages to meet the country’s growing demand for high performance computing.

Point 2: partnership with Google and Meta

Reliance Intelligence is also working with major global players to speed up AI development. Under this collaboration, Google will focus on integrating clouds and AI services with Reliance, while Meta will work on deploying the open-source model for Indian businesses.

Point 3: Google Cloud Area in Jamnagar

As part of the partnership, Google Cloud will set up a dedicated area in Jamnagar. The region will also be powered by Reliance’s renewable energy and connected through Jio’s telecom network. Sundar Pichai confirmed that this new cloud area would not only support the operation of Reliance, but would also provide Indian developers and enterprises accessible to advanced AI and compute tools. The company has announced a plan to adopt these techniques in its businesses, in which Google is serving as its largest public cloud partner. “This cooperation will establish a Jamnagar Cloud Region, dedicated to Reliance, distributed from Reliance to a world -class AI operated by clean energy and is connected through Jio’s advanced network,” said Pichai.

Reliance and Meta will set up a new AI joint venture, with 70 percent shares, while Meta holds 30 percent. This enterprise will use the Meta model of Mata to provide enterprise-grade AI solutions in areas such as customer service, finance, IT and retail. According to the company, these solutions will be introduced in several formats, including cloud-based, on-rims and dedicated infrastructure, allowing businesses of various sizes to adopt them. “Through this joint venture, we are using the Meta’s Lama model in the use of the real world and unlocked the new possibilities together,” said Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta.

Mukesh Ambani also announced that Reliance Intelligence will roll AI services for individuals, small businesses and large enterprises with sector-specific solutions for education, healthcare and agriculture.
