Google has first started Pixel 10 pre-order shipping, and we have found Pixel 10 for review! Our Indigo is, and it is the most cute shade of blue.
Unexpectedly, a recycled paper box has nothing more than the USB-C cable with 10 ships in the box.
What Is It is a little surprising that there is a camera. Google made a bold option to include a zoom camera in its base pixel this year, and we are all for it! 10.8mp 1/3.2-inch sensor (112 mm, f/3.1, 5X) is not as good as 48MP 1/2.55-inch (113 mm, f/2.8, 5x) telephoto on Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL, but it is a welcome.
We will test both sides to see how a big difference there is.
Other changes from this year’s Pixel 10 Pro (and even last year’s Pixel 9) are the new main camera of Pixel 10 – a small 48MP, 1/2.0 -inch image 25 mm f/1.7 shooter with imagers. We do not expect that it will perform very poorly compared to the main camera of 50MP, 1/1.31-inch on Pixel 10 Pro in most of the scenarios, but we will also test it too!
Google Pixel 10 has a zoom camera
Finally, the ultravide camera is an inferior unit compared to Pixel 9. The new one is 13MP, 1/3.1-inch vs. 48MP, 1/2.55-inch old model. PDAF still exists, fortunately.
Google upgraded the OLED display of Pixel 10 compared to 9 – this is now a bit bright (2,000 Nits vs 1,800 NITs Nominal, 3,000 NITs vs 2,700 nits peak). But the 120Hz display is still not an Ltpo panel – it is a feature reserved for the Pro model, as is always a new -on display wallpaper.
Then there is a difference in processing. Pixel 10 Non -Prot has the same 3Nm tensor G5 SoC, but is combined with only 12GB RAM – professionals get 16GB.
On paper, there are a lot of differences between the pixel and both Pixel 9, and under the Pixel 10 Pro It Slots. Separating the details on paper for a second, Pixel 10 feels every bit in the form of a premium in hand as a promium. We will argue that the more colored palette of non-ex-Pr is a serious plus.
And in addition to a dedicated zoom camera, the mainstream pixel fan may just prefer to save some money and go with Pixel 10 on Pro. food for thought!
