Actor Junior NTR is set to form a team with director Prashant Neil for his next film. The film is expected to be a Pan-India project under the title ‘NTR X Neel’.

‘War 2’ actor is now going to start a second schedule for the film. “NTR is ready to start the second schedule of NTR X Neel directed by Prashant Neil in the first week of September,” as reported FilmfareJR NTR is set to title the high-octane action film directed by Prasanth Neil. The director is credited with directing films like ‘KGF: Chapter 1’, ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ and ‘Sala’.

‘NTR X Neel’ is supported by Mythry Movie Makers and NTR Arts. The film promises to highlight his versatility and Pan-India stardom. The film is scheduled to release on 25 June 2026.

Junior NTR is also collaborating with Trivikram Srinivas for a grand mythological drama, playing the divine role of Lord Kumara Swami.

Speaking about the project, producer Naga Vamsi, in an interview Gullet Pro, Said, “We are preparing the announcement. We planned it in a certain period. But in my personal opinion, after seeing the promo of Ramayana, you know what the director Trivikram is for us, and along with it being their first mythological film, we felt that Senior NTR Garu has shown Lord Ram and Krishna.

Junior NTR was last seen in his Hindi film ‘War 2’. The film is part of the spy universe of Yash Raj Films and is directed by Ayan Mukherjee. The film also includes actors Hrithik Roshan, Kiara Advani, Ashutosh Rana, Anil Kapoor, Varun Wadola and other lead roles.

The last Telugu release of Junior NTR was Koratla Shiva’s ‘Devra: Part 1’, which included Saif Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Prakash Raj, Srikanth and Shine Tom Chacko.
