Ajith Kumar’s upcoming film Vidamuyarchy, which is being directed by Magizh Thirumeni, is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated films of this year. The film has been in the making for quite some time now and fans have been eagerly waiting for any updates related to the project.
Well, the wait is finally over, as the makers of this much-awaited film have shared the first look poster of the film on their official social media. In the first look poster, Ajith Kumar is seen walking alone through the middle of the desert in an all-black attire. He is also seen carrying a duffel bag in his hands. The makers shared the poster through their official X (formerly Twitter) with the caption:
“The much-awaited first look of #VidaaMuyarchi is here; get ready for a gripping story where perseverance meets grit”

What we know so far about Vidamuyarchchi
Vidamuyarchy marks the first collaboration between director Magizh Thirumeni and the Mankatha actor. Apart from this, it also features a star cast including Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Sarja, Regina Cassandra, Aarav and many more.
In a recent interview, Ajith Kumar’s manager Suresh Chandra had confirmed that the much-awaited film is expected to hit the silver screens during Diwali this year. Also, earlier this month, Arjun Sarja had mentioned that the cast and crew of the film are heading to Azerbaijan to shoot the film. He mentioned that only 20-30% of the film is left to be shot, and Ajith Kumar as well as Trisha Krishnan will be joining him for the job.
Vidamuyarchy is bankrolled by Subaskaran under the banner of Lyca Productions, while Anirudh Ravichander has been roped in to compose the music for the film. Om Prakash has handled the camera for the film, while NB Srikanth has handled the editing.
Ajith Kumar set for back-to-back releases
It has been over a year and a half since the Yennai Arindhaal actor last released in theatres. Needless to say, fans of the actor are eagerly waiting to see their favourite actor on the silver screen again. However, Vida Muyarchy is not the only Ajith Kumar film that is set for release.
Earlier this year, it was revealed that the actor’s next film with director Adhik Ravichandran, titled Good, Bad, Ugly, will release during Pongal/Sankranti 2025. The film also stars Telugu actor Sunil, along with other prominent names such as Sreeleela, Bobby Deol, and even Premalu actor Nasleen are rumoured to be a part of the project.
Good, Bad, Ugly is financed by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravishankar under the Mythri Movie Makers banner, and has music by National Award winner Devi Sri Prasad. Abhinandan Ramanujam and Vijay Velukutty have handled the camerawork and editing respectively.
