Actor Shriya Pilgaonkar has joined the upcoming thriller Havan of director Priyadarshan. The film is a Hindi remake of the Malayalam hit ‘Opam’ and marks a large renovation of actors Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan.

Actor Shriya Pilgaonkar has come to join Priyadarshan for his upcoming action-thriller ‘Havan’. According to reports, she will join the actors Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan.

A source close to the film confirmed Hollywood reporter The Shriya has been added to the artists. The source further mentioned that the ‘Mandla Murds’ actor will soon start shooting for ‘Havan’. The film went on the floor in Kochi on Saturday, August 23, 2025. Akshay and Saif were seen laughing, while a conversation took place between a conversation.

Shriya was last seen in director Gopi Puthan’s crime-thriller ‘Mandla Murdars’. The film featured actors Wani Kapoor, Nursewen Chawla, Vaibhav Raj Gupta, Raghubir Yadav and other lead roles.

‘Hawan’ marks the renovation of Akshay and Saif after 17 years. The couple last shared screen space in director Vijay Krishna Acharya. The film also featured actors Kareena Kapoor Khan, Anil Kapoor and others in lead roles and produced by Aditya Chopra. The film is written by screenwriter Rohan Shankar, which is also credited for director Mohit Suri’s blockbuster ‘Siara’.

‘Havan’ will be shot in Ooty and Mumbai. Actor Boman Irani also plays an important role in the film. The film is a remake of Priyadarshan’s Malayalam thriller ‘Opam’ (2016), which features actor Mohanlal.

Although the details about ‘Havan’ are kept in wrapped, there is speculation that Kumar must be playing the role of the opponent. KVN Productions, who is producing ‘Toxic’ of actor Yash, is supporting ‘Havan’. Saif also marks Saif’s return to the silver-screen since playing the role of a villain in the film ‘Devra: Part 1’. The film featured actors Junior NTR and Janhvi Kapoor.

‘Havan’ announced ‘Hera Feri 3’ after wrapping the horror-comedy ‘Bhut Bangla’, the third film of Akshar and Priyadarshan.

The release timeline for ‘Havan’ has not yet been revealed by the production house.
