Jana Nayagan, starring Thalapathi Vijay in the lead role, is slapped to hit the large screen on January 9, 2026. In front of its dramatic release, H. The Vinith director is likely to perform cameo’s performance by other directors, who have endured Vijay’s films first.
Is the Jan Nayagan of Thalapathi Vijay likely to showcase the cameo by the top Tamil directors?
According to a report by Valai Pichu, Jan Nayagan is expected to include cameo showy by directors Lokesh Kanagaraja, Nelson Dilipkumar and Atley. The directors are estimated to appear as journalists in the film.
Interestingly, the three filmmakers have worked with Thalapati Vijay at least once. Director Lokesh Kanagarj made films with Master (2021) and Leo (2023), while Atley helped the films Thei (2016) and Bigil (2019). Nelson Dilipkumar and Thalapathy Vijay collaborated on the film Beast (2022). Additionally, there are reports that composer Anirudh Ravichender will create a special appearance in a song.

On a side note, director Lokesh Kanagarj confessed that he had views for Master 2 and Leo 2. However, their development depends entirely on the availability of victory. Asked if he would proceed with the sequel using a separate actor, the director firmly stated that without victory, the projects would never be physical.
