Coulie: Powerhouse starring Rajinikanth directed by Lokesh Kanagaraja and starring Rajinikanth has started losing its hold at the Hindi box office. The film, which began on an encouraging note, is now facing mixed words-mouth wrath.
Coulie collects Rs 1.40 crore in 6 days; Eyes to wrap extended weeks under Rs 25 crore
A well-known star cast of star cast including Nagarjuna, Saubin Shahir, Shruti Haasan, Satyaraj, and Aamir Khan, the film wrapped its early weekends in Hindi for Rs 18.50 crore in Hindi. It recorded a heavy decline of 70% on Monday in its first day and collected Rs 1.30 crore.
According to estimates, Cool on Tuesday mined another Rs 1.40 crore, which remained more or less stable even at the discount on Tuesday. Cool trails behind War 2 in North Markets, Mahavatar face hard competition from Narasimha
Lokesh Kanagaraj film lagged far behind War 2 in the Hindi belt only. It maintained an important lead else including the Telugu circuit.
Cool also faced a tough competition with the Holdover release, Mahavatar Narasimha, who is still doing a miracle at the box office in the 4th week. The animated film collected Rs 18.15 crore during the four-day Independence Day weekend, against the cool Rs 18.50 crore.
