Courtesy Android headlinesThe Galaxy S25 fee has appeared in the leak render, giving us a proper idea of what is expected. The fan edition phone has always tried to balance strength and major features, and this year’s version should continue that trend. More interestingly, the Galaxy S25 Fe can reach around the launch of the upcoming iPhone 17 series, making things very competitive.
According to the render, the Galaxy S25 fe will be available in icy blue, naval, black and white. While most of these shades match regular Galaxy S25 line-ups, the white option is something new, especially since the standard Galaxy S25 and S25 Plus left it. It is a clean and classic finish that can appeal to a lot of buyers who prefer understood designs.
In terms of design, Samsung appears to stick to its fan edition formula with a bright glass finish, but the major change is in dimensions. The Galaxy S25 Fe has a rumor to be only 7.4 mm thick and weighs about 190 grams. For comparison, last year’s Galaxy S24 Fe measured 8 mm and weighed 213 grams, so this is a noticeable improvement in portability. Despite slimming below, the phone is asked to pack a slightly larger 4,900mAh battery in its predecessor than 4,700mAh cells. It is also rumored to support 45W wired charging, which should be charged quite early from time.
On the side of the performance, Leaks Galaxy S25 Fe is being powered by Samsung’s Exynos 2400 chipset. This is the same processor found inside the Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus, and one step from the Exynos 2400E seen in the Galaxy S24 Fe last year’s Galaxy S24 Fe. RAM will probably be 8GB with an option of 128GB or 256GB storage.
On the front, the Galaxy S25 Fe display is expected to be a 6.7-inch full-HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel. While Samsung has not confirmed this yet, it is likely to borrow this performance from other Galaxy S25 phones. In terms of security, the phone should have the facility of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus Plus.
The cameras have also been expanded in the first leak, and it seems that Samsung is not planning a major change in hardware here. At the back, the Galaxy S25 Fe 50-Megapixel can come with the primary camera, which is paired with a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with a 3x optical zoom. This setup is similar to the Galaxy S24 Fe, although Samsung can use an upgraded sensor this time. However, the front camera will probably be upgraded from 10-megapixels on the upcoming model from 10-megapixels at the Galaxy S24 Fe.
The Galaxy S25 Fe is expected to be launched in September, completing the Samsung’s S25 family including Galaxy S25, S25 Plus, S25 Ultra and the recently launched S25 Edge. Does Samsung opt for unveiling it during its IFA 2025 conference on 4 September or to be seen close to the iPhone launch window.
