The war came to theaters on August 2, 2025, which matched the Independence Day weekend. Battle 2 In Telugu on the first Saturday, Big Drop Witness collects Rs 43 crore in total
Built under the banner of Yash Raj Films, the Telugu-Dab of War 2 earned Rs 24 crore on the first day of its release. Hrithik Roshan and Junior NTR starrer earned Rs 12.50 crore on Friday.
On Saturday, the sequel to the war saw a major decline in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The YRF action thriller recorded a decline of 70 percent to 70 percent yesterday, earning a gross business of Rs 7 crore yesterday.
The curse collection of Aditya Chopra’s production is now Rs 43.5 crore in Telugu markets in three days.

War 2 holiday cannot benefit from weekend
War 2 should have maintained a better grip at the box office. LT also could not benefit from the holiday period including two opportunities, Independence Day (August 15) and Krishna Janamashtami (16 August).
The performance of War 2 in the Telugu markets has been affected by the competition by mixed reception and other major release, especially Rajinikanth led by Rajinikanth. A section of the Telugu audience has not resonated with the film.
Directed by Ayan Mukherjee, War 2 also stars Ashutosh Rana and Anil Kapoor. Bobby Deol has played a cameo in the action thriller.
