Apple to launch Homepod Mini 2 and Apple TV updates this year with iPhone 17 this year

It seems that a busy launch schedule has been planned for the second half of Apple near Apple. The Cupertino giant is likely to launch the iPhone 17 series next month. Subsequently, the company allegedly plans to refresh its two popular home entertainment products, compact homepods Mini and Apple TV 4K.
A new report by Macruers who refers to Apple’s codes shows that Apple is preparing to launch its next generation homepod mini and a more powerful Apple TV model, both are expected to come before the end of 2025.
Homepod Mini 2 to be more powerful
The new homepod mini, the name of the Koden B525, was seen in the code by the contributor Aaron Paris of Macrums. According to the listing, the processor in the new generation homepods is built on T8310 microoricate. It has the same main technology that currently gives S9 and S10 chips in Apple Watch Series 9 and Series 10. It is also estimated to be used in the upcoming watch series 11.
The current homepod mini runs on the old S5 chip, which is of the early Apple Watch model. If the report comes true, the steps for a new S-series processor, possibly expected to bring into a significant performance jump in S11, New-Gi Homepod Mini. The chip is rumored to be a 64-bit dual-core processor obtained from the A16 bionic, which is combined with a four-core nerve engine for on-device machine learning.
Beyond the raw performance, the Homepod Mini 2 is also rumored for the convenience of Apple’s new in-house Wi-Fi and Bluetooth combo chip with support for Wi-Fi 6E, possibly offering a faster and more stable wireless connections.
Apple tv 4K also on launch schedule?
Along with the new homepod mini, Apple is also rumored to upgrade Apple Tv 4K. In the codes discovered, the report indicates the inclusion of the A17 Pro Chip in Apple TV. It is the same silicon that is giving power to the iPhone 15 Pro model. If true, it will mark a remarkable leap from the A15 bionic found in the current Apple TV. The upgrade processor is expected to be able to run more demanded apps, provide high-end gaming experiences and support Apple Intelligence features.
Additionally, the advanced graphics capabilities of the A17 Pro means that the update apple tv can handle the console-quality game with visual effects that allow the Apple to carry forward in gaming space.
