Cool, starring Rajinikanth in the lead role, has been slated to release on 14 August 2025. As far from killing the big screen under the direction of Lokesh Kanagarj, the Hindi-language trailer in theaters has left the neti with excitement.
Cool’s Hindi trailer presents additional footage
A leaked video on social media shows that the Hindi trailer includes an additional scene which was not present in the original trailer. In the last moments, a man was shown with a screwdie hairstyle, faced with several armed men, who taunted with a hook in his hand.
However, it is not clear whether this is the character of Rajinikanth, Dev or someone else, there are speculation. Many believe that it can be a Shivrathicon in a cameo role. However, an official confirmation has not been made.

Earlier, several rumors suggested that Shivkartikeyan was part of Rajinikanth starring. However, in an interview with Pinkvilla, he mentioned that he had just visited the sets as the shoot was taking place near his house. Whether it is complete truth or not, it remains to be seen.

Cool is an action thriller, characterized by a superstar as a former daily wage worker, Dev (played by Rajinikanth), with a terrible past.
While he has been in the shadow for about 30 years, he makes a comeback after his close friend Rajasekhar is in trouble. The rest of the film focuses on how he succeeds in helping his friend.
The final shot in the original trailer of the film was shown as a tease to Rajinikanth’s flashback part. The original trailer ends with a shot signal in Dev’s flashback, using a negative filter. This is probably to hide the D-AZ look of the superstar, which reminds him of his role in Basha.

Actor Nagarjuna Akineni is playing an opponent for the first time. Flick has stars like Upendra Rao and Aamir Khan.
Apart from all of them, the coolie has a dress of Shruti Haasan, Satyaraj, Saubin Shahir, Reba Monica John, Charle and many other actors.
On a side note, there will be a confrontation with Hrithik Roshan-JR NTR starrer War 2 starring Rajinikanth.
