Prabhas horror comedy flicks is ready to hit the big screen with the Raja Saab. Maruthi’s direction was announced to be released on 5 December 2025, but it seems that the film may be postponed.
Prabhas’ The Raja Saab adjourned Sankranthi 2026 to release?
Speaking to Great Andhra, producer TG Vishwa Prasad revealed that the film could be postponed to Sankranti next year. He said, “I did not announce it publicly, but many believe that it (King Saab) should be released for Sankranthi.
Accepting how Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar is also being released on the same day, the producer revealed, “The Hindi business circle wants it to be released on 5 December because he has no strong release then, and the release of Dhurandhar can also move. What will we do for us anyway,” he said.
Ending his words, the manufacturer said that Raja Saab will complete his work by October this year, and the final call will be taken then.
Is Raja Saab ready for the sequel?
In the same interview, Raja Saab producer confirmed that Prabhas would be the sequel to the starrer. However, the next installment will not continue the same story, but its cinematic universe will be present within the universe.
Vishwa Prasad said that the film’s raw footage has a runtime of 4 hours and 30 minutes. However, the final call will be taken by director Maruthi, the film will be edited either for 2 hours 45 minutes or 3 hours 15 minutes.
