Paratranthu Po is a Tamil Comedy-Drama, which has the lead role of Shiva, and hit theaters on July 4, 2025. A month after its release, the film is now available for streaming on the OTT platform Gehotstar in many languages.

Plot
Paratranthu Po has a story of Gokul and Glory, who is a pair, who lives a husting life to provide for her son Anabu. While Gokul is struggling to establish a business, his livelihood depends on the salary of glory by running a saree shop.
With countless EMIs and other financial responsibilities, the couple strives for their highly active son. However, Ambu is happy in his life because his parents are always busy, they get stuck in home and school.
Now, during the half -annual holiday of Ambu from school, he persists to take his father on a trip. Music road trip, which makes Gokul and Gaurav feel what really in life makes the whole story.

Director Ram is known for churning the most beautiful stories and making us emotional. In Paratranthu Po, the director successfully does so again.
In a cinematic world where most of the films are either part of a franchise or are full of violence, Parantu Po gives us a fresh breath of air. The latest story of a sweet journey reflects an hope for humanity and gives us a thought-giving message that does not feel like a preaching.
According to the words of the director in the end credit, the film is nothing new from the story’s perspective, but we need to remind sometimes.
The greatest property of Pathranthu Po is its delicate and beautiful script. The story written by Rama itself reminds us that in a life full of responsibilities and money-making, we forget to enjoy small things.

Sharanthu Po is full of great performance, but those who surprise the audience the most are Shiva. The actor, who is often known for Tameez Padam and Tameez Padam 2, like his comedic ventures and Spou off Films, breaks his conservative image by portraying Gokul.
A loving father, Shiva, fit for a completely role with many layers in his character. On the other hand, Grace Antony performed an impressive performance, wondering if it is the same person who stole the show with the same comic moment in the Malayalam film Happy Wedding.
With impressive performance by Aju Varghese and Anjali, the show’s star was Mithul Ryan, who was a child artist, who portrayed Ambu.
