The son of Sardar 2, starring Ajay Devgan in the lead, is facing weak material and poor word-mouth wrath. The comedy sequel has seen a nominal growth on its first Sunday, yet could not see a double digit figure.

Supported by Sardar 2’s son Devgan Films, his box office run started on 1 August with Dhadak 2 and other holdover release- Mahavatar Narasimha and Siara. The film collected Rs 7.50 crore in 1 day. It saw some further increase and gave Rs 8 crore, after which a jump of 20% was made on Sunday, which was Rs 9.50 crore.
The total cum of Sardar 2’s son hit a pure mark of Rs 25 crore at the Indian box office in three days. Ideally, it should have been its day 1 collection- looking at the A-list star cast and sequel factor.
All eyes are now on its Monday and week days. According to the current trends, the film is moving towards an unfortunate end. Sardar 2’s sons Mrinal Thakur, Ravi Kishan and others could not influence co-composed audiences, thus recorded such a disastrous response. Half of the first installment collected in 2012 is expected to air its dramatic runs.
