Superman hit the screen in the last weeks and reviewed well with the audience as well as critics. While fans are still soaking in the film, director, James Gun has announced that he is working on a script for a sequel.
Taking his threads account, Gun shared an update after the release of the hit film. On the social media platform, DC Head said, “Peysis press !! And sequel writing !!!”
In addition, to keep the audience away from speculation, Gunn said, “This is the same film. Superman has a major role. It’s not Superman 2.”
All about superman sequel
Earlier in a conversation with Entertainment Weekly, James Gun addressed the headlines of Superman 2 in Making. DC Boss revealed that the upcoming project cannot be called Superman 2, it is definitely a sequel.
Gunn explained, “The one I am working on is somehow … I mean, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. But is it a straight-up Superman sequel? I will not say that.” The film is still in the early stages of development, and therefore, the details about the plot and the members of the artists are kept in wrapped.
Superman takes it out of the park
For Gun -directed Superman, the film performed well at the box office. The film, stated on 31 July, will cross the 300 million mark. The film starred David Karenswate and Rachel Brosnhan in the lead roles of Superman and Lois Lane respectively.
As a plot, the film’s official synopsis states, “When Superman is attracted to struggles at home and abroad, his actions are questioned, technical billionaire Lex Luther has the opportunity to get this steel man of steel out well.
Superman is successfully running in theaters.
