Aamir Khan to visit Kunariya village of Lagaan after 25 years for special screening
Aamir Khan is all set to visit the village ‘Lagaan’ near Bhuj for a special screening of his film ‘Sudar Zameen Paar’. The film was released in theaters on 20 June.

Actor Aamir Khan is all set to see the iconic village near Bhuj, where his Oscar-Namit film ‘Lagaan’ was shot two decades ago. The superstar is ready to return for a special screening of its latest blockbuster ‘Sitare Zameen Paar’, which not only brings with indifference, but also a new wave of storytelling.
Screening is part of one Heartfelt initiative by Khan To bring cinema closer to people. ‘Sitare Zameen Paar’, which has already earned widespread praise across India, is now available to the audience on YouTube under a pay-per-view model. Proudly referring to the stage as “Janta’s Theater”, the Khan emphasizes the democratization of film Access especially for the audience in rural and remote areas.

Aamir Khan Productions proudly presented 10 rising stars: Aros Dutta, Gopi Krishna Verma, Samvit Desai, Vedanta Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra, and Simran Mangeshkar.
Directed by RS Prasanna, ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ was appreciated and loved by all quarters.
Meanwhile, after rejecting the possibility of an OTT release for ‘Sitare Zameen Paar’, Aamir Khan has now officially embraced the digital route. On Tuesday, July 29, the actor announced that the film would stream as a pay-per-view facility on YouTube.
From 1 August, the film Aamir’s official YouTube channel, Aamir Khan Talkies: Janta’s theater will be available at a price of Rs 100.
