Apple can step into the foldable smartphone game finally, with several reports, now pointing to the 2026 launch window for the company’s first folding iPhone. While Apple has not officially confirmed anything yet – as required – leaked around the device are all over the place. According to analysts and internal sources, the foldable iPhone is likely to debut with the iPhone 18 series in the second half of 2026. And this will not just be another iPhone-it is expected to bring a completely new form factor, possibly the largest design of Apple for the iPhone X.

A report from JP Morgan analyst Samik Chatterjee through CNBC It states that the foldable iPhone will have a 7.8 -inch internal performance and a 5.5 -inch external display. These numbers are slightly smaller than what currently provides at its latest fold than Samsung, but Apple can bet on a slimmer, more polish design.
