Jatt & Juliet 3 earnings saw a rise on Friday, with overseas markets seeing a weekend jump while India remained at Thursday’s levels. The film grossed Rs 10 crore worldwide on Friday, taking its total to Rs 18 crore in two days. The domestic and overseas earnings after two days stand at Rs 8.20 crore and Rs 9.80 crore (US$1.17 million).

In India, the film starring Diljit Dosanjh and Neeru Bajwa grossed Rs 4.10 crore (Rs 3.50 crore net) on Friday. Generally, films releasing on Thursdays can see a drop on Fridays but the film equalled its opening day figures, indicating a strong trend. While the collections dropped slightly in the state of Punjab, it saw a marginal increase elsewhere. Jatt & Juliet 3 also narrowed the gap with Carry On Jatta 3 on the second day, grossing Rs 30 lakhs compared to Rs 1.10 crore on the first day. The gap mainly comes from the state of Punjab where Carry On Jatta 3 is ahead while in other regions Jatt & Juliet is either equal or slightly ahead.

Internationally, Jatt & Juliet 3 recorded the biggest Friday ever for Punjabi films, grossing US$675K, while Carry On Jatta 3 grossed US$550K. Canada grossed 390K Canadian dollars, almost double the previous best. Australia grossed 202K Australian dollars, which is better than Mastani’s first day collection of 195K Australian dollars. New Zealand and the United States are also recording record collections.
