Samsung has started rolling a UI 8 Watch update based on Google’s Ware OS 6 platform for Galaxy Watch Ultra Owners, introducing a series of health-focused features, which was first unveiled with the new Galaxy Watch 8 series. Now, this is a proper upgradation, not just a cosmetic change. Update running coaches, vascular load monitoring and antioxidant index shows meaningful additions-all are designed to provide more intense insight into your health. For people using Galaxy Watch Ultra, this is a welcome growth without the need to upgrade in a new model like the Galaxy Watch 8 classic. The update also refines the interface, making it easier to look and interact with information on small screens.
One of the main attraction of Oneui 8 Watch update is a new running coach, which creates a custom training program based on your fitness level. This is only more than a great step tracker, as it is claimed to provide real -time guidance, when you run, help you improve your performance over time. Then there is vascular load tracking, a characteristic aimed at identifying how stress your vascular system is during sleep. It seems for irregular stress patterns and flags that do not seem normal, which may be useful in understanding how comfortable your sleep is really.
Another interesting addition is the antioxidant index. It uses the underlying sensor of the Galaxy Watch to measure carotenoid levels-a type of antioxidant found in the body. The measurement takes just five seconds and it is to give users a quick look how their body is holding against oxidative stress. This is the kind of feature you usually expect to wear high-end health-focused, not the mainstream smartwatch.
Oneui 8 Watch update also includes multi-info tiles, which lets you customize what kind of information is displayed on the screen of your home. Whether it is the season, your heart rate, or a calendar event, it is easy to set things in the same way you like them. Samsung has also added its Nau Bar feature, which has been introduced in the Galaxy S25 series, Smartwatch.
All said, Oneui 8 Watch update is rolling only for Galaxy Watch Ultra users. Galaxy Watch 7, despite being part of the first beta program, has not yet found the final version. But given that the rollout has begun, it is not far away. For now, if you own a Galaxy Watch Ultra, keep an eye on the software update.
For those wishing to buy the device, Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra is available for the Lon Wi-Fi + LTE variants in the new Titanium Blue Shed for Rs 59,999. However, if you can leave the blue shade, the white and silver color variants of the clock are available at very low prices.
