Foot: Apple iPhone 16 Series vs Google Pixel 9 Series

Samsung’s new Galaxy Z foldables will be on pre-order for another week, so let’s look at Apple and Google Prasad instead-Both iPhone 16 and Pixel 9 series have some concrete price cuts.

Starting with large guns, Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max and Google Pixel 9 Pro XL have 120Hz Ltpo panels 6.9 “and 6.8” displays respectively. Both have capable cameras, although the pixel appears to have an upper hand with a 48MP 113 mm periscope compared to 12MP 120 mm on the iPhone. Apple iPhone 16 Pro and Google Pixel 9 Pro both have 6.3 “displays, but the iPhone is 3 mm lower and 0.5 mm is narrow. Both weigh 199g. Also, both have cameras similar to their elder brothers and sisters. Unfortunately, Amazon is currently much lower on Pixel 9 Pro units.

Google has no direct contestant of Apple iPhone 16 Plus – it is basically an iPhone 16 with a 6.7 “display and a large 4,674mAh battery.

Therefore, we proceed to 6.1 “Apple iPhone 16 and 6.3” Google Pixel 9. Pixel has a large main camera sensor (50mp 1/1.31 “vs. 48mp 1/1.56”) and high resolution ultra-wide (48MP vs. 12MP), however, iPhone better battery life (for our active use testing.

Finally, cheap models. However, in the case of Apple iPhone 16E, we probably have to use air quotes around “cheap”. This € 600+ phone has a single camera on the back, it has a small 48mp 1/2.55 “sensor. Google Pixel 9A has at least 13MP ultra-wide that stands next to the main 48MP 1/2.0” main.

The iPhone also has a wide notch in the 6.1 “display, while the punch hole on the 6.3” pixel display is less upset. The Apple A18 tensor is faster than the G4, but the pixel gets a better battery life (12: 42h vs. 11: 53h), although it is largely due to a large battery.
