Ravi Mohan has approached the Madras High Court and has filed a defamation case against Bobby Touch Gold Universal Private Limited’s production house. The actor is seeking compensation of Rs 9 crore from the producers as they failed to start two projects with him on time.

According to a report by News18, Ravi Mohan has alleged that he provided a call sheet for 80 days, but the company failed to start production. This clearly caused him a major loss, causing the trial.
The PS 1 actor alleged that he provided dates from January to 2025; During this time, he had to leave other films due to his contract with the production house.
In addition, the contract was automatically expired after a period, due to which it was taken to new projects. However, the manufacturers have said that Ravi has served a notice, demanding a return to an advance of Rs 6 crore, he once paid to the actor.
Interestingly, the defamation trial has clearly stated that the actor is ready to return the advance payment, but the production house now gives a befitting reply and says Ravi Mohan violated his contract by working in the parasiti.
The Madras High Court has now ordered the production company to further respond by 23 July 2025.

Ravi Mohan was last seen in the lead role in the film Kadhalikka Nearlaii. The romantic comedy and co-condemnable Nithya Menon, directed by Kiruthiga Udayanidhi, were based on the 2010 American film The Switch, starring Jennifer Aniston and Jason Betman.
The film tells the story of a young woman who dreams of having a family but struggles because she falls for a person who is not interested in marriage or children. It leads to a series of humor moments and finds out if he eventually finds his true love.
The actor is ready to appear as the main antagonist for the Shivrathicon starrer Flicks, Parasakthi. Directed by Sudha Kongra, the film is considered a period political drama with Srilela and Atharva Murali in the lead roles.
