Talking with the Hollywood reporter, Lokesh Kanagarj said, “Sanjay sir really called me after that incident. He said to me,” I made a very funny comment, but it became strange after cutting it and putting it on social media. ” I just said, no problem, sir.
The director continued, “Look, I am not a talented or a great filmmaker who will not write stories overseeing other characters. I have made a lot of mistakes in my films, and I am still learning. Perhaps, I will do another film with Sanjay Dutt sir, and will make it for them.”

Talking about Leo, The Tamil-Language Action thriller starred Thalapathi Vijay in the lead role, released on 19 October 2023. The film was partially inspired by the American Action a History of Violence, depicting the story of Parthiban, the owner of a middle -aged coffee shop, a middle -aged coffee shop living with children.
After a terrible day at his shop, the man is kept in the headlines for self -defense crime, only to arise for new problems. As he shares an appearance with a former gangster, Leo, opponents come to his life, expecting him to return to the world of crime.

Lokesh Kanagaraj is ready to appear as director of the next Rajinikanth starrer Cool. The action entertainer is asked to be against the background of a port and laborers.
In the lead role with Rajinikanth, the film will have lead roles of Nagarjuna Akineni and Upendra Rao, and Aamir Khan will play a cameo appearance. The much awaited film is slapped on a big screen on August 14, 2025.
