Recent photos of singer Justin Bieber with Haley Bieber did not go down very well with social media users. While his fans praised his romantic outing, others argued whether it was one of his other efforts in cultural appropriation.
Justin posted some pictures from his Italy holiday with Haley. In one of the paintings, the Canadian singer’s face is shown in a dark background. Reacting to the same, an X user commented, “Trying his most difficult attempt to look black.” Another user responded to the comment and wrote, “How he is trying to look black!” Defending Justin, a fan commented, “It really seems that she was not even ready for the picture, not knowing that she was taking it.”

An X user, making a subtle comment on the picture, wrote, “Dark vib.” Another user took a jib, sharing his dark picture in Justin, and wrote, “He is back.”

This is not the first time the singer has faced displeasure over cultural appropriation. Justin faced criticism for Sporting Draudlock in 2019, as reported by USA TodayThe singer later clarified, saying that he was using just his look as a Canadian.
During one of his stage shows in Mexico in 2022, the singer spoke against “racial injustice”, according to MarcaHe said, “This is a visit to unity and acceptance, we are all the same. There are many divisions and many racial injustice in this world. We can create a difference, we can be together and unite. Racism is a soul!”
“So, when we created an ‘justice’ album, we wanted to make a deliberate moment, a moment of unity, a moment of acceptance, a moment of belonging. In this world, there is a lot of division and justice for all of us to come together,” Justin said.
He said, “We know that racism is evil. This is wrong. But you and me, we become inter-builders. We are to stand with our brothers and sisters and make changes.”
The Canadian singer recently launched his new album-SWAG on 11 July, marking his seventh studio release.
Justin has returned to the music scene after a gap of four years. This is his first release after stepping back from music for more than $ 200 million in January 2023 and selling his music catalog to Hypagnosis Songs Capital.
