Additionally, he talked about how men of his generation are trying to adapt to developing views of respect for women, although it could sometimes be confused. “People like me have to learn a new way to show respect for women. For example, I am used to open a car door for a woman, let her move forward, or when a woman is standing, she stands up. But today, it can be seen as aggressive. Yes, there is a section that feels like this, ”he explained.

Talking about the characters in films, he explained how they may not look like bad people on the surface, but still hurt women without realizing it.

He said, “Yes, a man can be toxic, but he cannot intend to be. And that’s what we are looking for in the story of ‘Aap Jaisa Koi’.

Madhavan said, “He believes that he is developing, but he is not changing enough. He is still becoming aggressive – unknowingly. What he sees looks as a great gesture, may really be hurt, but he fails to feel it. It happens only when he is saying after a moment. Then he is clear that he is a toxic.”
