Oho Entron Baby Review: A Funny, Feel-Gud Drama that is a victim of Clich
Oho Entron Baby Movie Review: ‘Oho Enhan Baby’, directed by Krishnakumar Ramkumar starring Rudra and Mithila Palkar, is a good romantic drama that loses grip in its second half. With the first half and magnificent meta contexts, it manages to entertain mostly before clichch falls victim.

The days have come when the feel-gud romantic entertainers filled theaters every week. And even when they do, most of them feel flavored, inspired us to re -look at the older classics since the 90s and 2000s. When the trailer of ‘Oho Enhan Baby’ was released, it gave a vibi of a vibrant love story that speaks about the troubles of today’s relationship. Has ‘Oho Entron Baby’ hit the right rage with the audience? Let’s know!
A struggling assistant director Ashwin (Rudra) gets an opportunity to tell actor Vishnu Vishal (as himself) to tell his stories. He is accompanied by his manager, King (Radin Kingsle), a sounding board that only tells the truth. Vishnu rejects the first two ideas and asks him to tell a love story because he has not done one in his career. Ashwin hesitates for the first time, and then narrates a love story of an upcoming age that has a sudden end.
The love story that she narrates is her own. The interval block ends in her breakup with its doctor-girlfriend Meera (Mithila Palakar). Vishnu Vishal pushed Ashwin to meet his ex -boyfriend to complete the story. Rudra is against the idea, but his dream of becoming a filmmaker is barely hanging with one of his decisions. What happens to Ashwin and Meera? Will Ashwin get his pleasant end? And will he make it as a filmmaker?
Written by Mukesh Manjunath and Krishnakumar Ramkumar’s ‘Oho Enhan Baby’ is a good romantic drama that depends on complex feelings. The film works well, in fact when the film is more aware, makes you laugh loudly. The film begins with a story-with a story as well as concrete conflicts. So much that the film increasingly moves from one struggle to another that it surprises you what is coming next.

The first half of ‘Oho Entron Baby’ plays like a love story of an upcoming age, with a teenager, a college -going boy and a man in the late 20s. It begins with exploitation in current social media trends with Vishnu Vishal. From mention to Thalapathi Vijay’s ‘Jan Nayagan’, Ajit Kumar’s racing stent, Sori has received many moments to send him sweets, who provoke laughter. And then the film turns into romantic parts, and the film invests you.
Ashwin and Meera’s relationship is the story of contradictions. They end with each other, which they are the people they want to retract. At one point of the film, Vishnu Vishal indicates it, while King has called it toxic. This awareness makes ‘Oho Entron Baby’ pleasant, relevant and makes it out of the crowd. However, the film falls into the pile of clichch as it is near the end. It is here that the film brought the initial enthusiasm down.
Mithila Palkar’s Meera springs for life with her portrayal depiction. Even though his character is not wrong, the film somehow confirms the clich trop of apologizing to the woman, even if it is right. Similarly, there is a complete stretch about Ashwin’s mother and father, who lives in a unhappy wedding, which receives a brief unrelated arc yet. Even Meera’s mother (Geeta Kailasam) does not add as much value as her character is intention.
The work that does in ‘Oho Enhan Baby’ is its comedy and the way it depicts trauma and its effects on people. Mysskin appears as itself and in the gene-z words, he is a pure vibe. The film ends as a cure for those who are in sinks with what is happening in Tamil cinema. If only the screenplay was only nutritious as it was in the first half, the film would have a more impressive end.
Rudra, in his debut, is good and effective when he shows anger. However, in emotional and love scenes, their inexperience shows. Mithila Palakar is perfect as Meera and reassuring its role. Nivashini, Nirmal Kumar, Vijayasarathi, Kasturi and Karunakaran were good in their supporting roles. The world of ‘Oho Enhan Baby’ is alive, thanks to director Krishnakumar (who is known for his advertising films) and cinematographer Harish Kannan. For a romantic drama, the music plays a leading role and the songs of Jane Martin were an ideal earvarm.
‘Oho Entron Baby’ is a great attempt to create a love story that reflects the love story of this era. The film distributed the promise made, but it is only half-cooked.
