OnePlus is set to introduce two new smartphones, Nord 5 and Nord CE5 in India today, with the official launch scheduled to be live at 2:00 pm. The program will be streamful on the company’s YouTube channel and is part of a broad global unveiling including a new smartwatch, a light tablet and fresh TWS Yearbade. While OnePlus has placed official information under wrapping, many leaks in the last few weeks have already given a clear picture to users from the new Nord lineup. Both phones are deployed for the mid-range market and if rumor catching specifications, it can prove to be a compelling option.

OnePlus Nord 5: What do we know so far

Nord 5 is likely to turn the head turned on with its unusually large 7,000mAh battery, which can be strongly appealed to users who rely too much on their phone throughout the day for work, entertainment, or gaming. Fast charging is also part of the package, which has a suggestion of 100W wired support, making it one of the fastest charging phones in its segment.

Under the hood, Nord 5 is confirmed to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8S General 3 chip, which is expected to bring a noticeable performance jump on Snapdragon 7+ General 3 used in Nord 4. The display is also receiving some attention, with a leak to a flat OLED panel, a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate are offered. Other launch: Watch, Tablet, and Buds

OnePlus is also set to unveil a small smartwatch, called OnePlus Watch 3 (43 mm). The device is expected to have a higher compact, mild construction than the 1.32-inch display and the original 46 mm model.

A new entry-level tablet, possibly branded OnePlus Pad Lite, is also expected to start it, although specific details about its specifications are not clear. The company can also announce OnePlus Buds 4, which was earlier launched in China.

OnePlus Nord 5, Nord CE5: Expected Price in India

Pricing will be an important factor for both phones. OnePlus Nord 5 is likely to stick to a sub-RS 30,000 tags similar to its predecessor. If the leaks become accurate, it can make it one of the most powerful options in its category.
