Superstar Rajinikanth is ready for the release of Cool while shooting for Jailor 2. Now, it seems that Mohanlal Nelson is ready to resume his role as a Matthew under Dilipkumar direction.
Mohanlal Kickstarts shot for Jailor 2?
According to a report by Cine loco, Mohanlal is asked to travel to Chennai and the jailer joined the shoot for 2. Apart from them, shooting is expected that they will have actors like Suraj Venjaramudu, Kottayam Nazir and Anna Rajan.
However, an official confirmation about the inclusion of superstar in Rajinikanth starrer has not yet been made by manufacturers.
In addition, the report also claimed that Mohanlal can shoot for Jailor 2 by the end of July and later Dilieep Stararer Bha Bha Bhaa Baa went into shooting for his cameo in his cameo in BA Baa.
Rajinikanth starrer jailer 2 and what is expected?
Superstar Rajinikanth has been slated to hit the big screen once again with the film Jailor 2. The upcoming film is the sequel to the jailer (2023), in which the actor is shown as “Tiger” Muthuvel Pandian.

Moving forward, Rajinikanth is soon set to hit the larger screen with a cool directed by Lokesh Kanagarj. The Action Entertainer has been slated to release on 14 August 2025 with a superstar in a negative-shared role.
As Nagarjuna Akineni is playing an opposing role, Upendra Rao will appear as a supporting character. Interestingly, Bollywood actor Aamir Khan will appear in the role of a cameo and hopefully it will have a huge avatar.
On the other hand, Mohanlal is going to appear in a leading role for the next director Satyan Antikad’s Hridaypurvam. Malvika Mohanan has been released in theaters as a co-Leide in the Feel-Gud Comedy Entertainer and this year in theaters for ONAM.
Moving forward, the superstar will share the screen with Mammooty in the film Mamman (The Patriot). He also has a Drisome 3 in the pipeline.
