Actor Harshali Malhotra of ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, who won the hearts across the country as a silent and cute Munni, is fully prepared to return to the silver screen. She will appear in a new role in the much awaited Telugu sequel ‘Akhanda 2’. The film, which played the role of veteran actor Nandamuri Balakrishna and a film directed by Boyapati Srinu, will mark the debut of Harashali in South Indian cinema.

Harshali shared a hearty note on Instagram, announced his comeback and presented his character, Janani to the world. ‘Akhhand 2’ is a sequel 2021 blockbuster ‘Akhanda’, which is known for its high-octane action, spiritual elements and commanding performance of Balakrishna. With the return of the project and Balakrishna’s character once again with Boyapati Sarenu, the film is expected to offer the same collective appeal, which is combined with emotional depth.

The film is scheduled for a PAN-India release on 25 September 2025, which matches with the Dussehra Festival. It will be released in five languages ​​- Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
