Anushka and Virat first met during the shooting of a television commercial in 2013. His romance blossomed quietly, as he chose to keep his relationship private. In 2017, the couple got married in an intimate ceremony in Italy. He welcomed his daughter Vamika in January 2021, and once again expanded her family with the birth of her son in February 2024.
After the birth of their child, the couple moved to London. It was said that he wanted to live a normal life away from stardom.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Anushka Sharma retreated one step from her acting since her 2018 film Zero, where she acted with Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif.
