The cross-limit tension between India and Pakistan began to grow after an attack in Pahalgam by Pakistan-proposed terrorism on 22 April, claiming 26 innocent lives.

The social media handle of many Pakistani artists in India was banned as a mark of protest. Later, the Indian defense forces launched accurate attacks in nine terrorist camps in Pakistan -occupied Kashmir as part of Operation Sindoor.

Pakistani actors like Mavra and Fawad came forward to condemn India’s Operation Sindoor. After Mavra’s comments, Harshwarn Rain, co-star of his ‘Saman Teri Kasam’, talked about not working in ‘Sanam Teri Kasam 2’ if he was to be cast opposite him. He said, “When I am grateful to experience, although things are standing, and after reading the direct comments made about my country, I have decided to decline respectfully to be a part of ‘Sanam Teri Kasam Part 2’, if there is any possibility of repeating previous artists.”

Due to nationwide feelings and sensitivity about national interest, recently, actor Diljit Dosanjh also faced criticism to work with Hania in ‘Sardarji 3’.

The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) demanded a ban on Diljit.
