Vishnu Manchu’s latest film, Kannappa, is performing gracelessly at the box office. It discussed with the inclusion of Prabhas, Akshay Kumar, Mohanlal and Kajal Aggarwal, who performed guests in the film.
The Hindu epic devotional film directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh recorded a 25% decline on its second day, with an opening day with a double digit figure.
Kannappa collects Rs 8 crore on day 2, Cum has Rs 20 crore
Climbed a lot of cost, Kannappa started with Rs 10.75 crore and collected Rs 8 crore on its second day, which took a total of two -day Cums to Rs 18.75 crore at the Indian box office. The film is expected to cause a storm before the 25 crore mark by the end of its initial weekend.

Kannappa benefits from Prabhas’s guest appearance
The film benefited huge Radiance Cameo in the Telugu belt, where it was responsible for an important part of its box office collection. Kannappa held Rs 6.25 crore from Nizam, Rs 2 crore from seeded and Rs 5.5 crore from Andhra region in the last two days. The rest of India was disappointing and contributed only Rs 5 crore to the total cumulative amount.
Although these are good box office figures for Vishnu Manchu -led film, it was highly expected due to its large production costs and stars involved in the film. Inspired by a true mythological story of devotee Kannappa, the film is receiving mixed reactions from audiences and critics. If the film was opened for a brilliant word of mouth, its box office numbers could have been much better.
