WhatsApp will now show you the summary of until the until you use AI. This feature uses meta AI to generate small summary of chat, which helps users to quickly catch up the until until individual and group chats without scrolling through the stack of lessons. This feature is currently rolling with support for English for WhatsApp users in the United States.
WhatsApp will gradually expand rollouts in more areas and other languages at the end of this year. Private Message Summary Summary is also part of Meta’s comprehensive plan to integrate artificial intelligence, more deeply in WhatsApp experience. Once available in the app, users will be able to ask Mata AI to summarize the content, instead of opening each chat and reading through a long backlog of messages.
Once the indicated, Meta AI will then summarize users’ messages in bullet points, which is going on in conversation, will give quick observation of it. This feature will be available for both one-per one and group chat and will be particularly useful in high-traffic conversations where messages are quickly deposited.
How does WhatsApp summary works
The message summary facility is powered by private processing. According to Meta, this method is designed to ensure that neither meta nor WhatsApp messages can see the real material or summary that arose. Instead, AI processes data without transmitting the outer server or without exposing it to the company system.
According to the meta, the summary-protects occur in a privacy environment. Even the AI models of the meta do not maintain the summary or the messages they process. This means that the data is not accessible to meta or WhatsApp and remains invisible to everyone else in chat – only the user who requests the summary can see it.
To honor users’ preferences, WhatsApp will also not enable the feature by default. It will be released as an alternative feature that must be turned on manually. Users will be able to accommodate their settings in advanced chat privacy control and even specify which chats can be included in such AI-managed features.
Additionally, the message summary will also not inform other chat participants when a user asks Meta AI to summarize messages. Whether in a group or individual chat, the meta promises that WhatsApp summary will be a personal action, in which no visual indicator or others involved in the alert conversation will be sent.
