Who is Silambaron TR?
Born in Madras in 1984, Silambrason is the son of TR director T Rajendra and his wife Usha Rajendra. He has a younger brother, Kuralarson and a sister named Iklaia.
He completed his schooling at Don Bosco Higher Secondary School in Chennai and later studied at Loyola College in the same city.
Straw starts in films as a child for a child artist
He could first get one of the exposure in films when STR made his on-screen stent as just a child. He was held in the 1984 film Uravai Katha Kili in his father’s arms, making him debut.
Subsequently, since 1995, he started performing several performances as a child artist in his father’s films. These include Thai Thangai Pasam, Oru Vasant Gitam, Shanthi Enthu Shanthi, Sabash Babu, and more.
Simbu starts in films as a hero
In 2002, Silambarson TR made his debut as a prominent actor/hero in the film Kadhal Azhivathilai, directed by his father himself.
While all these were an average hit at the box office, Straw was a success after Manamadhan’s release in 2004, where he acted with Jyothika.
Mani Ratnam, support and beyond cooperation
Between 2010 and 2023, the period spread over 13 years, Silambarson continued to distribute mid-range films at the box office, with some success, while others were reduced by expectations.
These included Mani Ratnam’s film Cheka Chivantha Vanam, Gautham Vasudev Menon’s Vinathti Varuvaya, Vedam, Parva Podi, Aishwaran, Manadu, Pathu Thala and more.
When Silambarson was accused of unprofessional on the set
Back in 2017, Silambarson TR faced a red card from major producers and directors. The producer of his film, Anabanavan Asradhavan Adangadhavan made allegations against the film’s sets of being unprofessional.
In an interview with the backwoods, the manufacturer accused STR of often changing the shooting location, arriving late to set and even making significant changes in the call sheet, causing heavy losses in production.
Silambaron lost weight after training in Bharatnam
During the lockdown position after the outbreak of the Covid-19 epidemic, the Str publicly revealed that he had gained too much weight and then focusing on vital weight loss and spirituality turning to spirituality.
As a result, he became a vegetarian during that period and learned Bharatanatyam, which enabled him to shed 30 kg.
Silambarson’s controversial relationship

Well, STR was last seen in Mani Ratnam’s recently released film Thug Life, which seems to have been tank at the box office. When he plays the second lead role with Kamal Haasan, the audience still appreciated his strong performance.
Moving forward, he has several films, one of which, one of which, STR 50, he first needs to play the role of a transgender person, in a project directed by Desuing Periasamy.
