In short
- OnePlus Nord 5 to come with 50-megapixel camera
- OnePlus Nord 5 will be launched in India on 8 July
- On the same day, OnePlus Nord CE5 and Buds 4 are also launching
Ahead of the launch of the phone on July 8, OnePlus OnePlus continues with its feature drop for Nord 5 and Nord CE5. On Tuesday, the company revealed that OnePlus Nord 5 would come with the same 50-megapixel main camera sensor, which has also been used in the OnePlus 13 series, including the recently launched OnePlus 13S. In other words, the company is promising a staller camera performance with Nord 5, although it is certain that apart from the sensor, the rest of the camera hardware – lens and other parts – will be different.
On Tuesday, the company said the OnePlus Nord 5 would use the same Sony Lyt-700 image sensor for its rear camera, which we first saw in the Flagship OnePlus 13 Series device. At the same time, at the front side, the phone will have another 50-megapixel camera, which will be powered by the JN5 sensor. There will be an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera with a 50-megapixel rear camera with a view of 116 degrees.
Now, even though the phone’s camera is sure to share some similarities with the hardware flagship phone, users should still keep their expectations according to the segment in which the Nord 5 will reach. This is because, given its expected aggressive value, it is likely that its camera system will not have an accurate replica of what we have seen in Ekplus 13. Whatever it is, OnePlus is promising that Nord 5 will offer a great competent camera system that will use the “OnePlus 13 HDR algorithm” to ensure that OnePlus Nord 5 “Lifeycor Color Reconstruction and Exception, even lowly, even low coordination
In addition, the company is also promising features such as Ultra HDR support and 4K video capture with features such as Livephoto functionality.
Although not all the details are yet known about the OnePlus Nord 5, so far it has also been discovered that the phone will use Snapdragon 8S General 3 chipset, which should make it one of the fastest phones in its segment. In addition, the company has revealed that Nord 5 will support 144 FPS in call of duty and BGMI. It will also have Cryo-Velocity Vapor Chamber Cooling.
OnePlus Buds 4 is also coming
Apart from two phones, OnePlus Buds 4 will also be launched in India on 8 July. It is going to be a pair of fully filled earbuds, which is completed with the cancellation of active noise.
On Tuesday, OnePlus highlighted that Buds 4 would feature intelligent adaptive ANC and adaptive mode. The company said in a note, “The characteristic of the industry-municipal real-time adaptive ANC, the Buds 4, an ultra-wide 5500 Hz acquires a depth of extraordinary noise in the frequency range up to 55DB, effectively calms a huge spectrum of ambient sounds,” the company said in a note. “Up to 800 times per second, the system ensures accurate and responsible ANC performance in every scenario.”
Currently, it is not clear how OnePlus will pricit Nord 5, Nord CE5 and Buds 4 in India. But if pricing for previous onePlus devices in this series is an indication, Indian consumers can expect that the phones will take a price of about Rs 25,000 to 30,000 with an effective price after some launch exemption. At the same time, they can expect the price of Buds 4 that it will fall from about Rs 5,000 to Rs 7,000. Of course, nothing is official about these prices. They are based on purely educated estimates. It is possible that OnePlus may break the pattern and surprise consumers – such or that – depends on what it is packed in Nord 5, Nord CE5 and Buds 4. Okay, we will know on 8 July.
