Actor and politician Nagendra Babu, aka Naga Babu broke his silence about his daughter Niharika Kondela’s divorce. In an interview with Deccan ChronicleNaga Babu said that Niharika’s divorce was his fault. She married Chaitanya Jonagaldda at a grand ceremony in Udaipur in 2000. However, due to irreversible differences, he divorced in 2023.

Naga Babu said, “Niharika and I often talk about everything. I never interfere in my children’s career. I don’t care that my children’s films are hits or flops; their happiness is my priority. If they are not happy then what is the matter of being crores?”

He then remembered how his son and Telugu actor Varun Tej opened his relationship with actor Lavanya Tripathi. “When Varun told me that he wants to marry Lavanya Tripathi, my immediate question was,” Are you going to be happy with him? Will you avoid problems in future? ” Varun assured me that he would be happy with him, and then I approved his marriage.

He then said that he made a mistake with Niharika. He said, “My decision was wrong. This marriage was our fault. We could not judge it properly. We did not force marriage; when the proposal came, he said yes, and we thought it would be good,” he said.

Naga Babu revealed that Niharika and Chaitanya decided to participate mutually because they were not in the sink. He said, “They were not happy and did not want to live together, and I was fine with their decision,” he said.

Niharika Kondela is an actor and producer coming from Chiranjeevi’s family. “Niharika is busy producing films. She can marry someone else at some other point in her life,” she said.

For unknown, Naga Babu is the brother of Megastar Chiranjeevi and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Minister Pawan Kalyan. His son, Varun Tej, and daughter, Niharika is an actor in the Telugu film industry.
