Serious relationship with Diljit, Sardar G3 producer: film body over Pak actor Casting Ro
The Federation of Western Indian Cine Employees (FWICE) issued a directive against the makers of Diljit Dosanj and ‘Sardar Ji 3’ to hire Pakistani actor Honeyya Aamir. Calling it an anti-national act, the film body demanded an industry blacklist and cancellation of his passport.

The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) condemned actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh, ‘Sardar Ji 3’ producer Gunbir Singh Sidhu, Manmore Sidhu and director Amar Hunder to work with Pakistani actor Hania Aamir in the film. He demanded the film industry and demanded to blacklist him and cancel his Indian citizenship.
Diljit Dosanj unveiled the trailer of ‘Sardar Ji 3’ and announced the film’s foreign release, the Film Association urged a director film associations, exhibitions, OTT platforms and distributors to separate all relations with the actor and team.
While doing this anti-national work, the Film Association appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and others, who “strict and immediate action” against producer and director Diljit Dosanjh. “We respectfully urge that their passports be canceled without delay, and they are stated from taking advantage of any rights, privileges, or representation of Indian citizenship and national identity permanently,” their statement said.
The film body emphasized the direct disregard of its official ban team on Pakistani artists and called it “shameful betrayal to our country and its people”, especially when the nation is mourning the loss of 26 people in the barbaric Pahgam attack by Pakistan-supported terrorists.
This statement also called Pakistani actor Hania Aamir a “vocal campaigner against India”. It further mentioned that he made fun of the Indian armed forces and justified Pakistan’s terror acts among Operation Sindoor.
The Film Association also issued a final and strict warning that any Indian filmmaker or artist who collaborated with Pakistani citizens would be considered as people promoting anti-India stories.
“There is no place in the Indian film industry for such individuals. FWICE will not be silent because our tricolor is humiliated. We will highlight and oppose every attempt to normalize cultural exchange with those who glorify terrorism and condemn India. It is not only a call for boycott – it is a call for national monotonity.
In another letter addressed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the film body asked the government to accept this task as a national violation and ignore it for national instructions. Questioning his loyalty, the association called his actions “a serious betrayal to the nation, which gave him fame, luck and identity.”

However, the film’s producer, Ganbir Singh Sidhu, specifically told India that the casting took place before the India-Pakistan struggle. “Although our film was shot well before the India-Pakistan struggle, we are not releasing the film in India, taking into account the current situation and the feelings of India and Indian people,” he said.
He also said that he would wait for a suitable time to release the film in India.
