Following a dull phase at the box office, ‘Kubera’ opened for strong reviews and impressive collections. While Dhanush is widely praised for his performance, Nagarjuna is also appreciated for choosing for a character-driven role rather than relying on the star image. Connecting in praise, actor Chiranjeevi called him a source of inspiration.

In the grand success meeting of the film held on 22 June, Chiranjeevi attended as the chief guest. Praising Nagarjuna’s choice, an experienced actor said, “Nagarjuna is a source of inspiration for me – not only for his fitness and attraction, but also for his quiet, composed nature and adventure options made by him.”

While reflecting a recent conversation between them, Chiranjeevi shared, “When I asked Nagarjuna why he chose ‘Kubera’, he told me, ‘I have done many films, but now I want to take different roles. I want to open new doors for new characters.’ This character will definitely help open those doors and bring different types of roles.

Addressing the developed nature of cinema, Chiranjeevi said, “Tomorrow, if I have to do good OTT or web movies, we have to be ready. For this, Nag is a source of inspiration.” He finished on a humorous note, saying, “Nag, I will follow the path you placed. Follow the leader.”

Directed by Sekhar Kammula, ‘Kubera’ has played Dhanush mainly with Nagarjuna and Rashmika Mandanna. Sangeet is composed by Devi Shri Prasad.

Meanwhile, Nagarjuna is ready for the release of his upcoming film ‘Coolie’, in which he plays an important role. The film titled Rajinikanth also includes Upendra and Saubin Shahir, in which Aamir Khan appears on a cameo.

On the other hand, Chiranjeevi is currently working with director Vasishta on the Pan-India film ‘Vishwambara’ and a mass entertainer directed by Anil Ravipudi.
