After completing a successful dramatic run, Prince and family hit Gehotstar on 20 June. The film is directed by a first filmmaker Binto Stephen and received mixed reviews at the time of its dramatic release.
And now, within a day of its launch on OTT, social media is already filled with reviews left by the audience, who saw the film online. Here is how he liked about the film.
Prince and family oat decision
Well, most viewers agreed that Prince and Family are a decent film, which can actually be enjoyed with the family and within a diverse age group.
The debut of the film, as many credited, were woven so well that none of the audience was able to understand what was next for them. However, there were still some marks of poor direction and disappointing writing in some quite clear places.
Actor Dilip’s performance was well scored and tagged as the inspiring force of the entire story. His perfect comic timing and attraction tried to outline some flaws such as “Kinge” and “Forced Humor”.
Apart from that, many spectators felt that the remaining choice of the actors seemed suspicious as they did not make much effort for the joint appeal of the film.
According to the audience, the second half was tedious and far-off, and any attempt to send a meaningful message was overred.
The absence of actual humor and the use of old themes are some of the most common flaws that are mentioned by Neetzens after seeing Prince and family on screen.
Rajkumar and Family Box Office response
Well, the film appeared as the top artist in Kerala in terms of box office numbers, crossing several Malayalam films which were later released.
Prince and family surpassed films like Padakkalam and Sarkate at the box office and earned more than the rupee. 5.25 crores within just 5 days of release. It only tops the other latest release by Mohanlal’s Thudram.
