Veteran actor Boman Irani will soon be seen in Anupam Kher’s ‘Tanvi The Great’. Munna Bhai is known for his memorable roles in films like MBBS and ‘3 Idiots’, he recently reflected how the culture on the film set has changed in years.
In a special chat with India today, Irani shared, recalling a heart -wrenching memory from his first commercial film, ‘Munna Bhai MBBS’, “Sunil Dutt SAAB Came on the set and was surprised. He asked, ‘Why is everyone going to their van?’ He stopped everyone and said, ‘Please, I don’t care. Bring 23 beach umbrellas, install a good circle – All logs, Khan Sath Mein will be eaten (Everyone will eat together). ,
The actor expressed his apathy for that era. “That era is gone. Now people go to their van. Everyone eats separately. And I think the comrades on the set – people eat together – it really means.”
While on-set dynamics may move, Boman is inspired by the new generation actors. “Everything that affects me today is young. They prepare very well, which is really, really good. Some of them come from school, some from school, some theaters – and are those who are really rich.”
He also emphasized the importance of preparation in acting, quoting the legendary Hollywood actor Spencer Tracy as saying: “Know your lines, hit your mark, and don’t go into furniture.” Boman said, “It seems simple, but it means: Just come ready. No one is asking you to solve E = MC. It’s a simple task – as long as you are ready, it should be good.”
‘Tanvi the Great’ is scheduled for release in theaters on 18 July.
