Superstar Rajinikanth starrer Jailor 2 is currently being shot with several actors, which is expected to be a part of it. While more information about the film has been made so far, Nelson Dilipkumar direction was rumored in Shah Rukh Khan for the role of a cameo, but is there any truth in it?
According to a report by X Handle, Box Office – South India, Shah Rukh Khan, they are not part of the film and will not play the role of the cameo in the sequel. However, there are claims that a Bollywood actor will be part of the project, which will be declared only in the appointed time.
For unknown people, the jailer 2 is the upcoming sequel to the 2023 hit jailer. The action thriller is the story of a former prison warden “Tiger” Muthuwell Pandian played by a superstar.
The first installment focused on the story of the retired jail warden, who takes revenge against the men who were responsible for their son’s death. However, as the film moves forward, a dark Truth is detected, making the film a good venture.
Apart from Rajinikanth, the film featured actors like Mohanlal, Shiv Rajkumar and Jackie Shroff. Now, with sequel, stars are expected to re -prepare their former characters and even include Nandamuri Balakrishna in a special appearance.
Although more details are being made so far, the report also suggests that Nagarjuna Akineni may play the role of the main antagonist, although it has not been confirmed.
On Rajinikanth’s work front, the superstar was last seen in a lead role in the action drama Vettayan. The TJ Gananewell Director depicted the actor as a police officer, who is notorious to face criminals, but when a sensational case comes across him, it is torn.
Moving forward, the actor will soon be on a big screen with his film Cool, directed by Lokesh Kanagarj. The action entertainer has been slated to release in lead roles with Nagarjuna Akineni and Upendra Rao on 14 August 2025.
Apart from him, Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan will play a cameo role in the much awaited film. In addition, the cinematic enterprise offers an actors of more actors in Shruti Haasan, Saubin Shahir, Pooja Hegde (dance appearance), and more actors in lead roles.
